December 08, 2024 - December 12, 2024
This year’s conference is our second year in direct collaboration with the Japanese Association for Protein Phosphatase Research (JAPPR) conference and will continue to provide a foundation in the discipline to early-career investigators and inform experienced researchers of new developments. For nearly 35 years, this conference has explored the roles of protein phosphatases in normal physiology and pathological conditions. This is the only event in North America that provides this opportunity and is essential to supporting growth within this field of research. Sessions during this meeting will apply to a variety of audiences, including basic, translational, and clinical researchers from across academia and industry. Protein phosphatases are involved in virtually every area of cellular biology. As researchers across multiple disciplines decipher the complexities of a particular signaling pathway, the essential regulatory role of protein phosphatases repeatedly emerges, driving more scientists to study these enzymes. This conference will cover the spectrum of research from basic science to potentially new targets for disease therapeutics.
